ElFiesta.es publishes a feature on “Paris dans la voix”
Spanish outlet ElFiesta.es has published a full feature on “Paris dans la voix”. The headline: CARIOQUESE turns the trip from Paris to Rio into an explosion of funk carioca and urban pop. We're still pinching ourselves!
“París permanece en la voz, mientras Río se instala en la piel.”Translation“Paris stays in the voice, while Rio settles into the skin.”
What ElFiesta.es says
According to ElFiesta.es, “Paris dans la voix” turns the culture shock between Paris and Rio de Janeiro into a musical piece where funk carioca and urban pop meet. The feature describes a Parisian woman who arrives with her accent and habits, then gets swept up by the city's rhythm, energy and way of life.
The outlet also highlights the sound: the tamborzão of Brazilian funk, deep basses, fast verses, raggamuffin passages and a direct chorus made to stick in your head and on short videos.

Bilingualism at the heart of the project
ElFiesta.es stresses the switch between French and Brazilian Portuguese: the language itself tells the story and follows the protagonist's evolution. For the outlet, CARIOQUESE doesn't choose between two cultures, it explores what happens when they meet.
The feature presents the project as a series of episodes: a trip to Rio told in songs, between nights that end at dawn, unlikely encounters and a saudade that refuses to board the plane home.
