Good news from across the Atlantic: Ranking 40 Chile listened to “Paris dans la voix”, CARIOQUESE's signature track, and will feature it on its weekly show on FM Top (107.1 FM) in Chile. Tune in this Saturday, October 10, from 2 to 5 pm Chile time, that is 7 to 10 pm in France.
“Very good song. It has elements of Brazilian music, Afro sounds and is very catchy and danceable.”“Paris dans la voix” on Chilean FM
It's CARIOQUESE's first radio play in South America, and it comes with the track that sums up the project best. “Paris dans la voix” tells the story of a Parisian woman arriving in Rio de Janeiro: she keeps her accent and her bearings, then the city slowly changes her rhythm. Nights at Pedra do Sal, first words of Portuguese, the body moving before the mind.
The chorus, “Paris dans la voix, Rio dans la peau” (Paris in her voice, Rio on her skin), has become CARIOQUESE's signature. Over a funk carioca and urban pop beat, the song switches between French and Brazilian Portuguese: exactly the blend Ranking 40 Chile picked up on.

A Latin sound that travels
It's no coincidence the song is heading to Chile first. Baile funk, born in Rio's favelas, reggaeton and Latin pop now travel across Latin America, on the radio as much as on TikTok. The Brazilian music elements and Afro sounds Ranking 40 Chile noticed are part of CARIOQUESE's DNA.
This feedback echoes other professionals, like ElFiesta.es in Spain, who found that “the rhythm is catchy and makes you want to move”.
When to listen to the show
The show airs on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 2 to 5 pm Chile time. It's the same time in Brazil and Argentina, and 7 to 10 pm in France. You can listen live from anywhere on FM Top 107.1 FM. Check every time zone in the box, then share this article with your friends in Chile and Latin America.
